Recently, Businessweek magazine ranked the town of Clayton as the top 10 of the country’s most affordable places for families to live while at the same time receiving a top education. The schools in Clayton received a rating of 9.3 out of 10, which is one of the highest rankings in the country. East Clayton Elementary, Riverwood Elementary and Riverwood Middle Schools ranked among the areas best.

The article said that residents of Clayton get it all – a good quality of life, affordability and top schools.

Research done by Businessweek showed that only 26 percent of Clayton’s households have children and the median household income is $84,005. Clayton came in 10th in the country for the top 25 most affordable places with top schools.
